You were hired to lead change,
but something isn’t working.
You’re right to stop and notice. Questions that can surface when something is off:
- The board backs the decision and the resources are in place. So why isn’t this moving forward like I planned?
- Why did the admin team agree in the meeting and then each go do something different?
- Why are the same people who nodded in the faculty meeting now telling parents this was a bad idea?
- Where between the office and the classroom is this change getting lost?
- I'm having to push too hard. Where is all this resistance suddenly coming from?
Moving an organization through change requires more than instinct
and good relationships
Imagine Being Equipped To:
- Predict where resistance is likely to surface
- Assess whether your organization is truly ready for change
- Decide what can adapt locally without losing the intent or the vision
- Pinpoint where change is losing traction across your organization
- Diagnose why a change is derailing before trying to bring it back on track
Founder & School Leader
Dr. Anna Carello
For more than two decades, I have led across public and independent K-12 education, from individual schools to one of the nation’s largest urban districts, and partnered with universities preparing the next generation of teachers and school leaders.
I know what it is to hold a vision for change and face the harder work of moving it through layers of leadership and into practice.
Schools are being asked to adapt faster and absorb more change at once, with less margin for error. That is why change management belongs in school leadership. It gives us a way to understand how people, teams, and systems respond to change and what each needs to move through it successfully.

Your leadership becomes a force multiplier
when your team can lead change, too.
Anna helped us understand the dynamics at play around what we were trying to accomplish. She named what others could not, translated tension into insight, and guided us toward constructive, sustainable change.
What impressed me most was Anna’s ability to steady both people and process simultaneously. She possesses a rare talent for understanding the psychology of teams and the pressure points of leadership, like those critical moments when the change and my team felt like they both were going to unravel. Through her coaching and facilitation, we learned to navigate organizational politics with integrity, communicate more intentionally, and rebuild trust across all levels of school.
